We installed OBIEE 11.1.1.5 version, and in one of the report in analyze, we were unable to edit column properties, becasue the edit properties icon was not showing up for attribute columns. Turns out, that this is a known bug in 11g.
Workaroung is to create report again from scratch (painful).
